Orange County's Premier Massage School

Academic Transfer Policy

Upon enrollment, students will be asked to list any previous education, training or experience related to massage.  If relevant training is recent enough, sufficiently thorough, and performed with proficiency, appropriate credit will be allowed, pending proper documentation and proof of study.

California regulation does not recognize or permit courses of massage involving correspondence (through the mail) instruction.

Transferring students must have a certificate or transcript from a nationally recognized or California state approved school, must be in good standing with their previous school (satisfactory academic standing with prorated tuitions paid) and must complete at least half of their course hours at Lincoln Institute to receive a Lincoln Institute certificate.

Transferring students may be asked to give an instructor a massage to demonstrate skill level and safety prior to being allowed to enter a class.  Transferring students may be asked to take a written or verbal anatomy quiz to demonstrate proficiency.

After completion of classes or programs, a Lincoln Institute Certificate and transcript will be issued indicating transfer information from previous school.
