MASSAGE TECHNICIAN - 100 Hours
This class is a prerequisite for all other massage classes. Check out FAQ for more information.

70 self-paced hours are spent in the lab where you will learn an hour-long circulatory massage from start to finish.
20 hours of Anatomy, primarily on Tuesdays from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, are spent in lectures and practical review.
10 hours of Massage Clinic gives you hands-on experience with real clients. You'll be ready before you know it!
Listed prices include tuition, class notebook, 8oz. massage oil and holster, face cradle cover and anatomy textbook and workbook. Students provide their own linens.

Our advanced courses are primarily classroom instructional hours, taught by state certified Instructors, not simply an extended internship program. Beware of programs offering educational hours in trade for teaching their classes or working off hours in their clinic! Notebooks are provided and any textbooks required are at additional cost, usually less than $50 per class. If off-campus classes are scheduled, it is the responsibility of the students to provide their own transportation or carpool with other students. There are no additional fees, materials fees or uniforms required.

All certificate programs and courses have been reviewed and approved by the State of California Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education. Lincoln Institute is approved by the State of California Department of Rehabilitation and is recognized by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork. Transfer Policy: We welcome massage students who would like to continue their education at Lincoln Institute. They must have a certificate or transcript from a nationally recognized or California state approved school, and be in good standing with their previous school. An 8-hour orientation is required which includes a demonstration of safe massage techniques and a thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology. There is a $100 transfer fee, which must be accompanied by an approved application and course payment. To qualify for a certificate in any of our programs, more than 50% of the instructional hours must be from Lincoln Institute.
